View Full Version : NEED AUTO ELEC IN S.A

hey everyone, need a little bit of help on the elec. side of things on the 88' rangie, front left side headlight will not work on low beam and very dim on high, changed the globe, still nothing, then the fuses, still not a thing... i am far gone perplexed so any assistance would help greatly...

Check the earth.

Drive with your left eye closed.;) Sorry, couldn't resist that. Are the headlights running through a relay?

baha, i dont mind doing that, but im sure the double bubbles might um as for relay i am not sure, were would i find that?, i am still learning the car, i ony bought it last week.

Could be anywhere, if it's even fitted. A common upgrade. Do you have a multimeter. Also check that it's a 12V bulb not 24V.

dont have one, but sounds ike a sound invesment, and its 12v, i made sre i checked that. cheers buddy,know anyone in sa with a 88' rangie?
