Well, heard some funny noises today, heading back from Jack Smiths, take some dogs for a run and found to be my rear diff, all back together now, with another crown wheel and pinion, stupid junk

What are you doing still running a Bang-go rear end??? With those 35's you should be in dozer blade territory now, like me:)
I don't even have to THINK about my drivetrain now:p:p:p

I've organised with Keith from Rovertracks a contact to hopefully sort a bulk order in the new year, for diff lock stuff, so Sals time is near:twisted:

Must be N/A:angel:......but still, 10 splines and 37"s I reckon you could pull the motor out, turn the gearbag mainshaft by hand and snap an axle:D

Somethings been on my mind for awhile now,I have been going through alot of boy racer mags lately, very popular with the apprentices and they have quite a number of companys advertising ford 9'' diffs, they will make a diff to suit any track width, any hub, shock mounts etc, pretty much to go under any car for a reasonable cost. Why,instead of toyo or patrol diffs just get 9'' diffs made to suit and never worry again?.I know ashcrofts are making 9'' centres to go into rover housing but why not just change the lot?. I had a rear 9" years ago, but I never had money then and when a rear maxi came in a wreck it was sold on:(
I know a chap who builds heaps of 9"s I was working with him, could build me front and rears, but I'm trying to keep out the custom bits:)
Matter of fact, I reckon with a decent lathe, it wouldn;t be hard to build, then just have the axles made
