300 tdi injector pump $900 second hand

Placed a post in market place alerts with not much luck. Rang around today and given a price of 900 for a second hand one with 1 month warranty. Anyone know where i can get one cheaper. The minister for War and finances will blow a head gasket if i have to pay that much. Trying to limit down time. Original post below.

chasing a second hand pump that I can get rebuilt/ even better a go'er. My one has a leak out of the top plate but is still drivable. Want to limit down time when replacing mine.

Pump leaking from the top plate, Vehicle close to 350,000 ks. was hoping to get a second hand one until i got the money together for a rebuild or new one.

Why not buy a new gasket and fix the leak you have. Shouldn't cost much more than $20.

I had a forum search and found a link which shows how its done it seems that there is quite a bit of disassembly required to replace the casket including removing shafts ect. Worried that i will stuff it up completly. Can anyone supply a link or site for a supplier in England may go that option.

I think in the UK 'Martin Motors' or Devon 4x4 supply these. Also Google Paddock spares, and Craddock spares.

TRY TRS in SA.
They should have plenty, last time i was there they had heaps.
Not sure how much they are though, often a 2ndhand one comes close to a newby.
