nissan urvan

My father has a nissan urvan 1988 campervan with an E 24 engine.
He wants to know what the tune up specs are including the ignition timing, and also where the fuel pump is.
I have been searching the internet with no result but thought someone here of the learned members will know.

Been a long time since I worked on them.
Should be a sticker on the rocker cover for some basic specs.
Pump possibly in front/ over rear diff(I think;))
I'll check my books in the shed but not sure if the E24 is in them.

Sorry mate non of my books are that new(1978 last).
You might get some info from a geniric workshop(servo,ect.) as there used to be a cheat book around with the basics.(Tappets,points,plugs,timing,idles)

Check your local library for a workshop manual. Our library has a very good range of manuals.

BTW, wasn't E24 the model of the van, not the engine?

E24 is the model, I'm tipping it's an SD 23 Donk.
I ran one as a Taxi many moons ago and put a new donk in every year or 100000k, whichever came first.
(Usually the 100000K)

there was a sticker on the tappet cover which my father couldn't read but it did mention the timing, so i think we have the problem sorted now
