Ok guys Christmas has come and gone and so have our New Years celebrations. :) Firstly i would like to say i hope ALL of you have had a great week! and have a great year ahead of you!

Now lets get down to it:

1. Starting a new seven year cycle in a new place, with a new job, new people and a new direction.
2. Best left unsaid...
3. The disco got a snorkel, lift, muddies, winch bar, alpine sound system and a few other small changes.
4. No more temptations - this is the long haul now! Although I did buy an Isuzu ute with half a bajillion km on!

Came to head new years eve when we "retired" to my pergola to avoid the rain and 5 people got drenched when the gutters overflowed:confused:.

Has to be the trip earlier this year and the one we just did at Freycinet. Basically they are all memorable!

2. Most expensive Breakage?
Pin stripped the right side of the Disco on a tree :(

PLENTY :D - inlcudes body lift, uhf, nudge bar and spotties, cargo barrier, headlight wiring and more.

4. What landy did you sell buy trade or find?
Found plenty I like, but already have 2 Discos

5. What is your new years resolution?
Get out with the family and friends camping, sight seeing, generally enjoying life in this beaut country of ours.

Overnight trip to canberra formula 1 motel with two girls :cool:

Mmm :( overheated the 2.25P and popped a core plug, so....

I bought my first and so far only-Dirty Mary! :D

Completing my new house and moving in.
Going to HK, China and the Karting world championships in Macau.

Maxidrive Disco2 HD CV - $2200.

.... hmmm, quite seriously, I dont think Ive done anything to any of them - an ACE over-ride and a sill tank is qued up and ready to go in.

Bought a IIa 6 cylinder tray ute.

Complete my Masters degree
Complete the II V8 ute.

The house was finished - so yes.
My Masters was not finished - so that ones been set back to S1 2010.

The birth of our little girl Emma Niamh

Radiator Botom hose on D1 TDI so around $100

CB, New speakers, Reverse lights, Flood lights

None wife went for new prado insted of Disco :mad::mad::mad:
Said she didnent want to be one of "THOSE" couples that drive the same car:o:o:o:o

To be the best dad i can ;)

1: Not sure really, been a pretty good year all round.
2: 3.5 engine... Replaced with 3.9.
3: Cut gurads and flares, vent in bonnet, new stereo.
4: Bought a Disco I V8i to wreck.
5: I don't do New Years Resolutions.

not really a breakage but car went in for a timing belt and a few other little niggles and a big end bearing check etc...came out costing $1800..however I think I may of done a head gasket so perhaps I will leave this one open:eek:

not a lot really..New wheels, tires, diff guards, bash plate. extended braided break lines thats about it

got a series 11a for free:)

complete my cert 4 in animal management studies

yes its on going I gave up chocolate..and still have:)

A month on the road Yass - Darwin via Oodnadatta track and Ayres Rock with the wife and Kids

2. Most expensive Breakage?
Replacement of the entire engine bay wiring loom on the D3, didnt cost me but Land Rover Australia coughed up with the repairs and 9 weeks replacement car hire.

3. What modifications did you do to your baby/s. Roof Rack and ICOM UHF on the D3

Series 1 107" ute purchased late last year

1. What was you most memorable moment of 09 Putting Ambrose in his (and my) first show ever on Australia Day. :)

2. Most expensive Breakage? Mother nature threw a tent at the side of Ambrose at Corowa. The damage is priceless - to fix it would ruin the patina. :(

3. What modifications did you do to your baby/s Almost finished rebuilding Gus from a rusty chassis to a working vehicle.

4. What landy did you sell buy trade or find? Acquired: 63 IIA Workshop Truck and '66 Workshop Trailer, '87 Range Rover Hiline

5. What is your new years resolution? Finish Gus and give Ambrose some finishing touches. Resist temptation to start on other projects. ;)

1.Riding the Le Mans to the top of Grassy Hill Lookout at Cooktown and the tourists applauded.
2.Defender gearbox $5000.
3.30% reduction gears.
4.some Cararama models I gave to my niece.
5.Get out of local Government and go training for a living.

1 '60 workshop..1 '59 chassis with 2a firewall and S3 guards and bonnet..2 109' wagons...and lots of parts...I think that is all
