We are in Taralgon (Victoria) and have found a broken body mount. Does anyone know of anyone or anywhere in the area we could get it repaired?

If you know of anyone who can repair it, or if there is anyone on the forum who can help us out could you give us a call on either 0419977280 or 0429156690 (net access is limited, but the phones are working fine).

Thanks

D2's that get used and flexed just crack them. When LandRover revised everything for the D2a reinforcing that mount was one of the changes.

Sorry to hear that Baz.

Does that suggest that a bit of pre-emptive reinforcing would be wise?

No not really.

They first crack through the bolt hole where the body is still supported. Once that has been cracked and reinforced it then cracks down near where the mount connects to the chassis - admittedly its in an easier place to weldup though.

Exactly where mine cracked, at the hole and fixed, then at the chassis both sides, passenger and drivers side.
