He also built the lesser known Lockless - Engine was back a hell of a long way (ie almost not under the bonnet!), it ran his own ETC system with LSD's, dovetailed rear, 37's with Toy converted axles and thrashed!

Plus a million other buggies based on landie components and custom traction control.

Andrew e bought and rebuilt what was left of the lockless didn't he? But I can't find any pics...

The good news for you is an Oxy cutter wont cut aluminium.

He's got it cut down at the moment installing Mogs.

Nah. LR should have made the front guards longer to get a better cut around the tyre. :p

Nah, you want the tyres forward of the guards so you can climb vertical walls without damaging the body ;)

no i wish i was. I estimate about another 8-10K of parts until tuff truck.:mad:

but then i will have about 5-600hp and an unbreakable driveline.

I wish i could fab as quick as sam though. What takes him an hour takes me a day.

no, hopefully with my snail, lots of headwork and a bit of laughing gas the rover motor will stay. ls1 is too big in size for how i want it set up. 9" is somthing that i am looking very closely at.
