Just had a visit from those two ol boys, the M&S lights.
It went into limp mode after leaving the servo tonight, so when I got home, I turned it off, locked the car, went back a bit later and they had gone.
Whilst they were there though, the car would start no worries, in P and N, but still go into limp mode.
The last time it happened, it wouldnt start in P, had to jiggle it in N to get it to go.
So I am thinking,
A, with the hot weather and the air con going, has it drained onto the selector and caused mischief.
OR
B, I have had oil in the loom for a while, and I clean it often, but would this cause the fault.
OR
C, Would a faulty MAF be a candidate??
I have checked the main earth lead to the battery and it appears to be tight on the body and battery.
Any thoughts ?
