Well, looks like after 9 years my rear airbags, or at least 1 of them is leaking, several times in the last week i have come out in the morning to a D2 thats sitting on its arse as if begging for a treat. out with the soapy water tomorrow arvo to confirm it, i have a pair of 2nd hand ones unkown condition, not sure if its worth playing with them or just get some arnotts biccies. at least they only take about 15 minutes to change out.

Just for a moment there I thought this was gonna get ugly...:o

I had to laugh with your response Pedro, well taken and good reply Rosscoe:D

I'd be going the Arnotts with the AUD$ being so good. Probably not worth the risk with the unknown status of the second hand ones.

I know its only and easy change but you know you'll be getting another 10 yrs without any additional worry... And replace both..:wasntme:

hmmm...

theres something really suspicious going on here, might need to do some more testing to identify for sure, but i am guessing i have a small leak in the airbag.

better check the other side. hmm, it appears the same, maybe this is normal operation for these. perhaps i need to search elsewhere to find the cuplrit.

might actually put the 2nd hand ones in to see if they hold up , get the new ones and then keep the 2nd handies for spare if they are ok.

i am about to order some arnotts from usa,

Your piccys show the standard/ common type of bag failure. They just get porous with age and usage around the fold.
