Righto you northern Taswegians,
I am entertaining the thought of doing a weekend a month 'clinic' to the north of the state, Launceston, and up to Devonport area etc possibly with my Rovacom and electronics advice and a few spares etc to do MINOR electrical and electronic diagnosis and repair to D2, Defenders etc etc. (NO freelanders though):tease:
Anyone interested???
I will have D2 and Defender ABS, EAS for RR classic and P38a, Engine management for Td5 and 14CUX (D1 and RRC V8) and a few other common modules.
I will also be bringing along a stash of airflow meters, common replacement sensors, a pair of D2 rear airsprings, ABS sensors, contact cleaner, Td5 injector looms etc etc but NO big jobs.
Will be about a month or so away from organising, and will post up info in the upcoming events section when it all gets off the ground. IF there is enough interest:) so come on and let me know:D

How far north are you coming?????
Not far enough by about 4,500km by my reckoning.
JC - Please feel free to deliver a carton of Moo Brew. Theres a number of northern Landies that would benefit from your TLC;)

Don't tempt me too much Derek and Peter, those sort of road trips are what the LS430 is designed for...
And seeing as this one has 30% more boot space than the '400, it'll take more moo brew:D

I'd love to see it after the Bullman Track
Well, perhaps not:o
Was pretty impressed when we took the '400 to Cooktown before it was sealed, and did a few detours to a few sights, not ONE SPEC of bulldust in through ANY seal. The layer of dust on the bootlid and bumper were amazing, I took a pic of it sitting on the 'LS 400' letters it looked pretty:cool:

Mmm, my old man has 3 amigo issues if I recall, I might have to nominate him as a likely candidate for some electrical TLC.
