Bumper lights 99 and 03

Does anyone know if the bumper light assembly directly swaps from an 03 Discovery bumper and a 99 D2 bumper

I want to do a blinker conversion/swap of the reverse and indicator lights on my99 D2.

I have had conflicting answers from sellers on Ebay about whether the light assembly is a direct swap part.

The wiring doesn't bother me, its whether the light assembly is a direct swap/clips in the same way to the bumper.

Has anyone done this conversion?

Maybe think laterally: Is the actual bumper part the same part on both models?

If so then the lights must have the same mounts.

I take it that your answer means yes they can be swapped.

PS. Common knowledge from long term Landrover owners is greatly appreciated.

No, what I meant was I don't know either.

If the part number of the rear bumper that holds the lights is the same on all models then it must be able to accept the same mountings for the two different tail lights.

A dealer (or someone one the forum with a copy of Microcat) will be able to tell you if there is a different bumper part number depending on the VIN of the Disco2.

Yes they a direct swap, you just fit orange bulbs in the clear indicators in the bumper or as you want to do re-wire them so the indicators go up in the pillars in the reverse lamps (orange bulb needed again) and wire the reverse lights down to the bumper. Been thinking of doing that myself for a while.
