Today is the day I pick-up the Discovery 4.
Any hints on what to look out for or check on delivery?

Tow ball and tongue.
Rear load area cover.
Carputer display displays everything you are expecting (Mine didn't).
I'd try out the access and off road selector and make sure it goes up and down without any bells ringing.
Oh, and go for a long drive and enjoy!:D

The tow ball and tongue along with the cargo cover are standard kit then?
The long drive is planned for the weekend I have taken the Monday off before Australia Day so we will be racking up some K's.
Thanks for the other tips.

It should also come with an iPod lead in the glovebox.
It's a loose/separate item so just make sure it's there.

At least it's a decent colour rather than the boring sliver/cream/black. Nice bright ones are the coolest ;-)

Nara Bronze would be my pick for the D4 :).

Why on earth would you go to
Lasselle-Ramsay Content and eLearning Development (http://www.lr.com/) for Land Rover colours?

Yep - from memory, any colour other than white is $1800 option. Part of the reason mine is white, the rest being that I couldn't decide which "other" colour I was prepared to pay for (and gamble on) and didn't want to ask my teenage daughters for fear of much blood on the floor. :D
