G'day

Does anyone have a picture of the spare wheel bracket that is in the tub. Mine (below) is missing the part to secure the tyre and I don't expect to be able to find another one. Hoping that with some good pictures of how they are supposed to look and work I might be able to make one up. Any measurements would also be helpfull.

Thanks.

I have one. I will post up a pic when I get home tonight.. I don't have it mounted, but you will see the brackets that you will need to complete it.. I just had a quick look at a UK parts company, and couldn't see these in their list. Only the brackets for the bonnet mounted ones.. (Which I have too, for my SWB )

Yep, that's it.. I found a picture I took before I removed, tagged and bagged it..

Edit: I found the bracket, and popped it on with a tire to show the mounting, and it parts etc..

Thanks to everyone.

The information and pictures posted here are extremly useful. I've got quite a few things to pursue now from sourcing some parts and making something up myself. Looking at it I think I could make somthing up with a right size bolt, big wing nut and some plate steel. This could work out if I can't source any original bits.

Thanks again.

I was using a piece of rectangular timber with a hole drilled in it for a while, it worked fine as well
