Just back from the Sunshine Coast, came home through Esk and up over the Range into Hampton,, its a great road nice and bumpy in all the right places to scare of the two wheeled brigade:p
Caught up to a new Q7 3.0TD along the way,, actually I picked it as an Audi,, but the TD only came along at a tight uphill corner where it literally dissappeared in a cloud of black smoke,,, on the assumption it hadnt blown up I continued through the smoke only to see the Q7 miles ahead up the hill!!,, if this is what 550NM does,, I want some!!:D This repeated itself a couple of times as the D2 aced a couple corners to catch up only for the Q7 to BRAKE into another uphill turn, then do his destroyer impersonation.
Made the trip home a blast though,,,:D

Love torque:twisted: Anything over 500 NM that's not much over 2 ton would have enough torque to screw your eye ball out especially when lower gears and HP get mixed with it.:D Would be fun:twisted:

I've driven a 750Nm V10 5.0 TDI VW Touareg that felt like it would wheelie when stomped on.
Tyres were shot by abt 7k km, but ...

Speaking of torque, there is an ad for the Great Wall 4wd ute on the back of a magazine I have here. Proudly boasts the 2.4 litre 4 cylinder engine has 100 kw and 200 nm .
