Spare wheel falling off D2

Just something for everyone to check. I removed the spare wheel off the back of the D2 this afternoon and both upper bolts where they attach to the frame had almost pulled through.

I think if I had not have checked it, it is likely the spare may have come off on my next drive down the highway.

Luckily I am starting to make the dual tyre carrier and rear bar when I get a chance.

yep, pretty common for them to pull through or just snap off, been like that since the early D1's:eek:
i remove mine and weld around the back of the stud, no probs after that.
