Help!,

This afternoon my wife was driving my formerly nice 2004 TD5 Disco and T-boned some dill doing an illegal U-turn. (she is not hurt - thank God, and it was not her fault but ouch!):o

The insurers want to tow it away tomorrow morning to their "approved repairer" unless I can come up with another "alternative repairer".

I just want my TD5 back the way it was (or as close as is reasonable).

Can anyone out there recommend a good smash repairer for it in Brisbane - i.e. someone who understands and has a good record with Landrovers?

Cheers,

Trilobite, Brisbane

Can't help you with a smash repairer as I live a bit out of the area, but the main thing is your wife was not hurt!!!:)

Hadwens at Albion.

I've had 2 Subaru's repaired there, including one new Liberty with major hail damage. You only have to look at the quality vehicles waiting for repair in their yard.

Glad to hear your wife is OK, but sorry about your gorgeous Landy :(.

Not sure what part of Brissie you're in, but what about ringing MR Automative at Redcliffe and asking them if they have preferred repairers? I believe they are specialised Landrover mechanics and have been so for a couple of generations. They certainly seem to have a good reputation but I haven't tried them yet.

They might know of someone who can do the body work.
