Hi all, Dont frequent this part of the site often, but I picked up a wrecked D2 V8 today 8/2001 build I think. It suffered a light roll so has a bit of panel damage, roof, front guards, drivers door, drivers side rear quarter, d pillars, rear step, rear drivers quarter glass, alpine window glass drivers side, drivers side glass, windscreen, headlights and indicator/tail assemblies as well as bull bar U/S. Eveything else is OK.
Not sure what I am going to do with it at present, will see if it runs OK when I get the keys. Everything else is there including SRS airbags which did not deploy??

Cheers

First up, donate the bullbar to the hastykiwi protection fund. :D

Otherwise, as the others have said chop it and have some fun.

Yep, like Nick said and if the motor's ok, I'll give you a couple of hundred for it to solve the GF's 'slipped liner' issue, and you can stick a nice LS1/2/3  in it for the comp work :D:D

Oh and an indicator stalk too please, lolol!
Cheers
Mike

Although I do like the D2 ute conversions, there have been some really good ones on here.

Thanks Guys,
A lot of ideas swimming in my head from a Ute to twin cab ute extended chassis 6 wheeler projects through to 4wd beach buggy or maybe even a car for the kids to learn to drive in. Have to wait until I get home and start pulling down to see what is salvageable and what is not. Even considering just repanelling it and keeping as a second 4x4:o:eek:
As I currentlly work away for 9 days at a time it may take a bit before any decisions are made. I am led to believe it is a runner. Everything is all intact, no damage to engine (apart from a possible engine mount rubber), drive train, radiator etc coolant and oils all still at full levels. It landed back on its wheels. Chassis is straight hence why I am considering projects rather than just pulling it apart.
Will keep all informed.
