2000 D2 V8 turning circle

Hi guys, my wife has a td5 D2a and it has a fantastic turning circle, mine is a 2000 v8 with a crap turning circle, i read about the different size stop locks (28mm & 23mm) i thought mine must have had the 28mm. i pulled them out and measured them and they are only 23mm, is there another reason why mine would not have a very good turning circle?

That's funny as my RRC has a turning circle that leaves my D2a running up kerbs!

When I fitted the last set of tyres to the RRC I actually had to adjust out the stops to stop the inside rubbing on the control arms!!

Mines NEARLY as good as a fully laden oil tanker!! :p

yeah its not good, even worse when your getting your car dirty and you have to do a 3 point turn just to make it around some trees.
