RR wiper problems

I have an 82 range rover and I am having problems with the wipers. they work to begin with and after a while they stop. then when i leave them a while, they begin working again. Is it motor prob, switch, earth. very annoying!!!

Is the switch (Stalk) getting hot? Or try cleaning the fusses in the engine bay on the left side. They're always trouble:mad:

You have let the smoke out.
Search smoke.
However It appears to be a poor connection somewhere which is heating up and becoming non conductive / high resistance. Find the hot connector or the smoke leak and you should fix it.
