I spotted a very nice looking civy FC in Maldon yesterday.
It was yellow with a white roof and a couple of big spotties on the front bumper.
Was anyone here driving it?

It belongs to 'Cooee' I think, although I think it was for sale or something - I didn't really pay attention to the conversation.
It's actually a military FC (all of them are) and has been 'civilianised'. ;)

Unless it was a private import. ;)

I thought the 101 was never sold to civilians? ie: an import would still be ex mil!

IIa and IIb FC's had a civvy market.
Not sure about the 101's though.

No civvy market on 101's at all. All ex-military.
I am pretty sure Andrew has sold it now

Was it a 101 or series 2 FC? If a yellow 101 most likely Cooee's old 101 but it did not have a white roof - had a black tilt.
Where are the pics?

Sorry - I should have been more specific. :(
Correct, IIA / IIB FCs were not specifically for military contracts, whereas the 101 FC was.

Yep Cooee sold his 101 about a year back to a bloke down Melbourne way from memory but as said above it had a black tilt not white.. and it was bright Defender Extreme Yellow.

It was not a 101.
It was a 109. (is that right?)

My apologies - reading back I note that you didn't actually say it was a 101. That was my assumption... must have 101s on the brain!
