Hi
There appears to be a foam filter which looks as if it is responsible for filtering dusty air before it gets in to the ventilation system, this is just below the windscreen wipers inside the engine bay and runs the width of the bay. Where can I get a replacement for this and what is it really caled?

If it is the same type as used on the D1.....
I went to Clark Rubber and bought some there.

If that's a dust filter it would explain all the dust on my dash
I think it's just there to keep larger insects/particle out but won't stop dust.
Cheers,

I believe it's there to prevent huge gushes of water from entering the engine bay ..... mine's cactus as well and as yet haven't bothered to replace it.
Clark Rubber sounds cheaper than LandRover!
Thanx

replaced mine recently, bought genuine part from Rovacraft "JZL100120 foam-filter D2"; cheap as chips.
I have also heard of people buying sheets of this foam from shops which sell spare filters for home airconditioners; probably a life time supply in one sheet..
