Picked up my nanocom today from rovacraft, they say i got their last one and they will not be getting any more as a new more expensive model is coming and this one is discontinued!!

Any who, i am desperate to fault find and clear my 3 amigos, i have registered with nanocom, i am just wondering how long they take to send the unlock codes for abs.

Regards

Once you plug in your nanocom and you ask it to read faults, if there is a fault, it will give you a code and what it is along with if it is current or intermitent. Someone else will know more but I think the code might relate to a sensor.
I only saw this on another car, not my own, the only fault I get and it is not very often, is an overboost logged fault.

Hi Gold_TD5

Underneath the inlet manifold about a quarter way back from the front, sits a wastegate modulator. Off it from memory are two small hoses. One goes from the hoses on the pressure side of the turbo to the modulator. The other goes from the modulator to the wastgate diaphram on the turbo.
Check those hoses for cracks or splits. If they are ok the modulator may be playing up.It may need a clean-out or replacement.

I have just found 3 sites that tell you just what nanocodes are and do, so if you suffer from the three amegios or want extra power from your discovery 2 have a look:
