Hi all,
After the problems i had with the clutch on my 58 88 inch i had prepared myself for a weekend of lying under my landrover fixing it:mad:. Someone suggested an old trick, start it in gear, fly in reverse, jamb the brakes on and basically stall it. I tried it a couple of times but it didnt make any difference so i put the Hi- low stick in neutral , put it in first and then eased it into low range, it crunched a bit, jerked forward and low and behold i got my clutch back.:D IT would appear that it was somehow binded which is strange because i had the clutch apart a couple of weeks before and every thing looked fine, anyway i'm happy with the result.
