FL2 side steps..

Hi all,

well, a few months of FL2 ownership and I still smile at the thought of a long drive. Already put ~10k on the clock - she is truly a great highway car. Only a few forestry tracks to 'blood her' so far but nothing really rough yet (been too busy to get away).

Anyway, does anyone know if side-steps are availabbl;e for the FL2 and if so, could you tell me where to get em and how much.

Land Rover will sell you some, probably expensive though. They also reduce the ground clearance which if you plan to take it a bit more off road will become an issue.

I wouldn't bother with side steps. We drove a demo with steps. They make it harder to get in and out and reduce clearance as Insider says. My wife is short and has always had trouble getting in and out of our various Landy's.:p No worries with the FL2 though. i think I'd be looking at bash plates before anything. The underside is a little vulnerable.
