I hope not everyone has gone to bed.

got a line on a LT95, 1976 RR thinking about grabbing it for the county, apart from the output flange being different, any thing else?? Are ratios the same?

It'll be long shift, not 0.996:1 high range, the handbrake is different and of course bellhousing

Keep looking, the long throw shifter will drive you:mad:, and a '76 will have 1.176:1 high range.

As Matt said also the park brake is a comedy, so really no useful parts there I'm afraid.

BUT ALWAYS check for the TR transfer case, some RR's were converted and WILL have the .996:1 gears.

ok well that’s sort of binned it, I expected to have to change stuff like the hand brake etc, the ratios don’t worry me as I could swap out from my current box. But the long shifter would be pain, may as well just rebuild my current box

You need one from the last of the range rovers, high compression 3.5 jobbies, with short shift and 0.996:1 high range
