As we are all landrover lovers on here, well sometimes it's a love hate relationship, anyway I digress; is anyone on here a member of a landrover club apart from being on here?

Is it worth it? is there benefits like better insurance, parts, services etc?

Also now that I have moved south, I sort of like the idea of getting together with other landy maniacs

so any heads ups?

Good to hear you made it down the deep south OK.

You must have taken the wet with you as we haven't had a drop in Feb - its very dry right across the top end.

HEaps of people on here are club members. It's all part of the fun of being involved and going out with other like minded and local people. If you check out the index page, you will see that many clubs also have their online discussion forums on here.

Yes, I'm a member of the LROCV. I'm their most remote member I think. I joined way back when I first moved up here so I could get some information on things, the AULRO forum hadn't really started and internet for me then was dialup at 28.8kbps on a modem at $7/hour.

Aside from the overseas members, probably yes!

I am also a LROCV member.

I was going to join one of the Range Rover clubs at one stage, but with no online facilities for the club, it kinda made it too much effort. Plus being up (down?............ over?) in Strathalbyn, distances were a little bit off-putting.

Maybe I'm just too lazy.

Ok maybe I should rephrase my questin based on your answers, does anyone know how many AULRO members are from the Adelaide / SA area and do you guys get together at all?

I see there are memberships from here in different states do this.

Hey Blitz,
You are going to miss the NT. Living in Handorf you will have to drive 400kms to do any decent 4x4ing.:p I am originally a Murray Bridge boy.
Try and get hold of Spudboy, he is in your area and will probablly have the info you seek.
