A tradesman stole a haul of seized drugs during a job at a police station and consumed so much he couldn't sleep for three weeks, a court has been told.
"You must have thought all your Christmases had come at once," Justice Debbie Mullins said.
It was after this bender, the court was told, that he booked himself into a rehabilitation clinic for six months.
He was sentenced to three years' jail and will be released on parole in August.
A period where he will have ample opportunity to undo the rehabilitation course and get hooked on the gear again......
