Hi Guys...

Need some quick help... trying to get the transit insured and they need to know which of the zillion variants it is!

do any of you dealer based guys have the ability to decode ford Vin numbers?

Thanks in advance

Steve

You need to use a European site for Ford vehicle VIN number numbers such as Mad Moles VIN Decoder (http://www.btinternet.com/~madmole/vindecoder.html)

Then you can enter all the vehicle's VIN numbers into the VIN number number number decoder and it will tell you what all the Vehicle identification numbers numbers mean! :D

Thanks for that! it actually worked... except it gives me no info (not like microcat) and also thinks its a fiesta! heheh

I guess i'll take it in and get ford to decode it...

Steve:( I guess it didn't actually work then!

You could try the Ford Transit forum: Welcome to the Ford Transit Forum! | Ford Transit Forum (http://fordtransit.org/)

or

Ford Fleet which being a Ford US site will probably give you the US "world" VIN system. https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/vin_tools/default.asp#
