Hi all,
I am moving my ser 3 ute from Bris to Mt Perry (near Gin Gin about 400 km nth Brissy).
I could drive it but I have to replace some hub seals and spring shackle bushes.
I thought it may be wiser to spend the money on a set of engine mounts for the D2 and tow the ser up on a tlr!
Any suggestions?
I thought of the AULRO courier service but it's not a small item and I haven't couriered anything for anyone else so have no credit so to speak.
I'll hire if I have too but I'd rather pay a landy owner!

Hi Mate,
Sorry, forgot that detail.
If I am towing then restricted to last two weeks of Mar, otherwise no time restrictions at all.
It would be met at other end by a relly at anytime.
I live in Ferny Hills but the series is reg and driveable so could deliver to a pick up point or collect tlr or whatever really.
Cheers

Ralph,
The towing restriction you mention, is that with YOU or the vehicle. The reason I ask is that we (Nan & I) visit our grandson (Shailer Park) when ever we get the opporunity and we could time a trip that works for both of us. There are a few ducks to line up for this idea to work, but it is possable.
your thoughts ?
Paul
PS whereabout in Mt Perry ?

Hi Paul,
The restriction is ME!
I am unable to get time off work until the end of the 2nd week of Mar, that is I am working pretty much 7 day weeks until then. I will also be out of country from early April. That being said, I do not need to accompany the series save to assist loading it. It will be going to either my parents or sisters homes, both of whom live in the town of Mt Perry itself.
I appreciate your offer and can pretty much fit in with any of your plans except accompanying the journey which I can only do the last 2 weeks of Mar :(.
We will be making the trip to Mt Perry over the W/E 12-14 Mar for a family function (first w/e available!) if that helps.

Ralph,
any of the trailer hire place are about the same. I do recommend checking the trailer before leaving thier depot (service station). Tyres, spare, wheel bearings, winch, ramps, etc and make sure you have got a socket/wheel brace that fits thier wheel nuts. One way hire, although quite practical from your point of view are usually much more expensive.
safe trip.
