injector pumps

Just a quick one for those who are in the know. Is a 200tdi injector pump the same as a 300tdi injector pump? A mate dropped his 300tdi pump on the concrete yesterday so have just posted a wanted ad but was wondering if the 200tdi was interchangeable. Might open up some other options if a 2nd hand 300tdi is proving difficult to find!

Dave, yes totally interchangeable. They are calibrated differently but if you perform tweaks all that goes out the window anyway:)

Ive got a 300 pump with ~300 kays on it in Cooktown would be happy to part with...
It is gonna need a top housing seal (leaks around the throttle linkage pivot)????
Was working fine apart from top leak when last making things go up and down round and round.

mate thanks for the offer. I will pass the info on to Bob (the bloke who is after the pump) and get back to you if he wants it. I will be away all of this week for work so won't be in contact until Friday at the earliest.
