We've had 4 days of monsoonal rain so I went for a drive and took a few shots of one of the local rivers.

so,, how come in the top two all the trees are fuzzy,,

the fuzzy stuff was not a prerequisite of the wonderfull waterfall effect?

These shots are all around 25 second exposures. Things, like plants, move when you take that long;)

Hardly any cane toads actually. Not that we don't have them, just that they aren't as bad as in Queensland.

Video from Nikon D3s. Two clips of about 2 minutes each. I've joined and shrunk these to be able to upload, the originals were a total of 384MB.

On the D300s I have 3 levels of quality, do you have the same option on the D3?
Which level you have selected? large file/ high quality or one of the others?
Looks like that you people have enough rain for a year :o
It would be nice to film a bird in a tree or wild life. I have to test my D300s with birds if they come back to Moore Park Beach. At the present time only 2 ducks are about :(
Thanks for posting.

D3s has the same 1 at 16:9 and 2 at 3:2 ratios. Only records a maximum of 5 minutes video in one session in HD.
Hadn't done any video until today apart from a few little bits playing around for a few seconds. Even now I was actually driving and a friend was holding the camera.
