Quicksilver Pro defender 90

Just went to the Landrover tent at Rainbow Bay, Gold Coast, this morning and sat in the Defender 90 on display. Admit that after that I will never look the same way at my 1982 Series 3. But the one I liked most was the short dual cab Defender sitting out on the street advertising a Southport Landrover dealer.

They showed that landy a few times on the live comp coverage on Saturday. Apparently there is also a show covering the 3 weeks before the comp where they drove 3 of them up from Bells beach proir to the comp, stopping in at all the surf spots on the way.

Thanks Scott did not know that. Most mornings I do go for a walk for exercise, and usually past Rainbow bay where the Quicksilver Pro is being held. So this morning was drizzling rain, so I just walked to the Land-Rover tent and had a look. Thought I would mention itout of interest. Thought others might like to know this

Our household only has one digital camera, and my wife hogs that camera. No camera equals No pictures, sorry.

Plus all my previous attempts to post pictures, e.g. Pictures of Polystrate trees, taken from on Internet sites have always failed miserably.

So I do apoligise for no pictures.

The defender 90's were black which I think is a horrible color for in the sun. The Duel cab was Red which I think is better.

The 110 Dc, belongs to Bruce Lynton, they have kitted it with some extras bits, was there saturday before it went down...
