There was a nice Series 1 in Rush, no not the early 70s Australian tv series, the 2013 movie about F1. Considering it would have been over twenty years old, it looks a bit new. I suppose the problem with any movie set in the past is the only period cars they can get are restored to like new condition, not as they would have been as ten to twenty year old cars.

Had a lazy day and popped on 'They're a weird mob' I'd forgotten about the Series 1 ute that takes the blokes to work.
I love that movie. It's a real piece of 60s Australia. I don't mean the acting, that's a little slap stick. Just the give a bloke a go attitude. And I like the lead character is called 'Nino' lol. Not many of us!
Watched the Bank Job again, and theres a Australian S2 and some series ones in it.

Is that a forward control 6x6 that gets a brief few seconds on screen in Jurassic World? Or a Volvo C series 6x6? (Not familiar enough to tell them apart).
Bumped into Harry Butler the other day in a lift. Had a nice chat and afterwards thought I should have told him I have a new(ish) Defender. As a kid I have fond memories watching 'in the Wild' and seeing his old series 2.
