In the Swedish version of "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" a few minutes from the end there is a dark green Discovery 1, but close your eyes for the car chase if you are a sensitive type.

    Hello All,

Okay - not a film - how about a music video clip from 1976? At the 1:15 minute mark a Series shortie streaks across the screen. Accessed 22nd March 2022 from, Swanston Street in Melbourne. . Taken as ACDC cruise down Swanston Street in Melbourne.

Is that the bed of a TK Bedford the band is playing on?

    Kind regards
    Lionel

As a kid, one of my favourite shows was McHales Navy - set in the Solomon Is in 1942/3.

Recently I came across a number of episodes on Youtube and noticed they often had the same opening scene for many of the episodes - see what is parked next to the wharf area in 1942/43 with good ole Wally walking by.

Not a movie but in the latest 7/Eleven and/or Mobil ad on TV, there is a shorty Series 3 IIRC.

Not a movie, but the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony at 04-45 AEST Friday morning features some red Series/Defenders, not sure if they are fire appliances from the quick preview I saw.

Yep, I saw them too, on the preview. Duly pointed out to my long suffering wife.
