I can't say I was focussing on the compare. It could have been Rolf Harris.
The actual show was excellent and highly motivating and emotional.

Lovely, but someone can correct me if I'm wrong... I thought Series 1 chassis were usually black (or gal.) except on Tickfords. They colour matched theirs green on the show.
No early 80s were colour coded.
The show clearly thinks that a Series 1 landie and is the 80" - 86 and 88" series 1s must be something else.
At the end they said that only 300? series 1s remained which is clearly wrong.

Saw last night's episode on the Series 1, and I was disappointed.
Too much talk & waffle, & not nearly enough on the actual restoration process. However, whilst I'm no expert, the finished product did look pretty good to me.

Pickles, I thought the same about the first (Mexico) episode. I'll watch the SI show tonight (it was recorded) but I'm not sure I'll bother with any more.
