We went to see it at the Broome Open Air Cinema, which was a great venue.

Sadly, I have to give it 2 stars, and only because I am a generous soul.

Too much action and not enough story. Why the hell where they transporting thousands of litres of breast milk in a petrol tanker?

I like the new Max. He was good.

    Wait for the DVD.

No back story. Unless you have seen the originals you have no idea who Max 'is'
No storyline, storytelling just one big.......nothing!
    Poor acting, poor dialogue.
I'm sorry to say I thought it was ****e!
But I'm prepared to be wrong. Many others have loved it.
I've tried watching the original Mad Max movies and wasn't able to get too far into any of them pretty much for the above reasons. I had this conversation at work as to what the big deal was about these movies and the answer I got from one person was that the point of these movies is that there is no point to them.

Not my kind of movie but each to their own.

Myself, Emma and some mates from the gym went to see it last night..

It was entertaining... Loud.. Enjoyable. And the 3D wasn't overdone like many are.

I didn't go expecting the worlds best story-line, just some entertainment.

And that's exactly what it was...

If you have a need for strong story lines then avoid...
If you enjoy loud, crazy vehicles, a bit of violence etc.. and just kicking back and shutting the analytical part of your brain down for a while (I use this stuff to escape from what I do all day - or shoot stuff on XBox)

    All violence and no plot

I watched it ! They started on the left hand side of the screen, mayhem ensued until the massed mess reached the right hand side of the screen then stopped while they realised something and then they raced back to the left hand side again.
    The end!

A fair while ago when I used to frequent Rainbow Beach a fair bit, there was a (silver and green?) FOUR WHEEL DRIVE Bentley soft top running around.

I now know where it ended up---

I didn't like it, too many technical holes, and no real "story line". I don't know what I should have expected, it just didn't seem part of the Mad Max franchise to me.

    Cheers,

Well, finally got around to watching this - I'm glad I didn't pay to see it at the Cinemas. I can count all the films I haven't managed to sit through on one hand - this is one of them.

This one is as unwatchable as 'Sound of Music'
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
