'Foyle's War' to return for new series on ITV in 2015
Admittedly not Foyle's War - but I was watching "For The Love of Cars" last night. They were doing up a Rover SD1 Police Car, which was eventually sold at auction and went to a museum in Scotland.
While they were explaining the history of the car, and discussing police cars specifically ordered / built for "high speed" pursuit, they showed a Daimler Dart police car. Apparently a small number of these was ordered, as the police had nothing else in their fleet at the time that could catch the huge number of motor cyclists that were about .................

Impressive bit of gear. Don't know if there are any in Australia or not - I've certainly never seen one.

Is the red one in the second photo a Police version (or possibly Fire ???). The bell on the front bumper caught my eye .............. ;)
