Whinecup is a technically capable driver but a crap team Player and team players win races....
Was just reading on another forum which has the radio transmissions between JW and his engineer. His engineer told him the plan was to just hang on to the back of Maclaughlin, don't pass him, just use his slipstream thereby conserving fuel.
Another year he should have listened to his engineer but hasn't.
Does he have the mental endurance for these long races ?
