Quality TV is now a thing of the past

It is a sad day indeed.

You need to get out a bit more Mick . Not sure I would put it in the class of Quality viewing . Then again there isn't much quality viewing at all these days so you are correct on that note.

Is Steve, the bald security guy still around? He was the real star of the show.

I thought it was only on pay TV. I don't have pay TV. Friends do, however, and at times that is what they were watching at the time I was visiting.

I was amazed at the program. I thought it was scripted with actors. There is no way people could really be like that, right?

    Was it ever?

Oh, I don't know about that. Fear not Mick. With 'quality' journalistic integrity coming from 'unbiased' shows like 'The View', 'The Project', 'Today Tonight', '60 Minutes', etc, there is no shortage of utter garbage left on TV that has entirely surpassed Jerry Springer...

Ah, "The View". You refer to the American production I suspect.
Years ago we had an Australian production. It was on the telly in the lunchroom when I had lunch. A workmate (he is a Welshman) called it "Women Talking Bollocks".
    Rather accurate I thought.
