I'm tipping that everyone else is a bit scared... Just kidding..

If you are interested, here's a good 'interview' with Phillips and Phoenix.

BTW, have you considered that this might well be the first film with Robert De Niro in it that reviewers DON'T mention Robert De Niro?

It’s on my list but I almost never go to the movies these days, so will probably wait until it hits one of the streaming services in 6 months or so.

Thanks for that - yes definitely interested, it was great to see these guys actually be able to talk about the process and technicalities around make this. Sooo much better than the 'interviews' done by jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and the like. Those interviews where condescending and almost offensive, I don't know if the irony was lost to them given the De Niro character in the movie.

Yeah, De Niro is definitely only a supporting actor here and I think he is happy to be. He has always been up there for me in the great actor stakes.

Same as you Gav, I don't often go to the flicks. In fact I most likely would have waited for this to come out on the small screen had the boss not gone and booked Gold Class. I am glad she did because it really is a very different experience... I just try not to think about how expensive those tickets are. Either way, I think you'll enjoy it.
    Cheers,

First time I've been in maybe seven years, but I had to see this. Do yourself a favour and see it on the big screen. It is truly stunning.

If you weren’t so far away, I’d tag along. That’s the main reason I don’t go - not so enjoyable on your own.

Tell me about it. I do most things on my own these days. But even if Jan was still with me there's no way I could get her to that movie. Lol
