I thought it was much better, getting rid of charlie was always going to be a great step. People can feel free to bag it all they want, but at least SBS are giving it a go, and there's plenty worse shows on TV. The UK version was very ordinary the first few seasons too.

Skaife's driving didn't look terribly smooth though!
(and i loved the look on Skaife's face after the lap, he obviously knew his time was better than that.)

Unless they have changed the stig since series 1 then Jason Bargwanna should still be filling out the race suit.

I taped it, and then watched the second half. Bloody great show and only getting better.

I must be one of the few that enjoyed the last series, yes they did try to hard but it is still a car show.

This season looks the be an outstanding effort. As for 4wd's crossing the desert, why not standard cars?

Again, been done on BBC. It will hard for TG Aust to not follow the BBC as they have been going now for 12 seasons.

    nearly missed it!!
came running into the lounge room to see the moke crash down and thought,,

    what were they thinking!!

I thought the interview was bad,, if scaifey, (who talks for a living now remember), has trouble articulating how things feel,, move on.

I think we devalue the comparo's because we know the guys,,,, and its like their second REAL supercar,, you see a V8 holden get thrashed every week so even a special one is still no great shakes,,

    as for skaifeys reaction,,
    what did he expect??
It was a borderline cheap shot,,

and it was good to finally see some really hustle the bog car!!

    smooth=fast?

    you be the judge,,,

The only thing faster than his lap was his tongue!!

I thought the show was a vast improvement on last season.

I thought it was better. Very promising. I thought Charlie was ok he was just trying too hard to be Jeremy and in general. It was annoying.

Yeah I liked the new one.

That annoying Porsche driver (in a Lambo this week) still gets to me but James Morrison was an inspired choice and Warren does a good job of the "star in a bog standard car" segment.

I enjoyed the re-creation of that lets see if we can get stuff into the boot of the car ad.

Definitely looking up and I'll keep watching.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Finally got to watch it last night as had taped it. Was a little sceptical about James Morrison as the additional presenter.......but ended up enjoying the show. I think some folks are too pedantic in their critique....the show is about cars and even with Charlie before it was still better than watching some other fodder. People used to bag Seinfield when it first came on telly......now its an icon show. Good onya TGA,

    Regards

    Stevo
