Ford Courier
Hey guys,
Looking for some advice. Trying to get the rear oil seal on passenger side but can't seem to be able to pull half shaft out. Does anyone know how to pull it out to get to seal.
I have tried slide hammer it out but it will not budge. Ideas?
Thanks!

you have not removed the axle retainers have you ???
- pinion shaft lock bolt and C clips inside the diff (under the diff cover) axles should pull out by hand
there was a Telstra OHS notice advising us to beware if we smelt diff oil, when driving Couriers with CSV bodies, evidently the c clips could fail and the axles come out by themselves,
Had the very same thing happen to me in a Compact Fairlane running 8 1/2" diff, (tho they use bearing retainers instead) only thing stopped the wheel falling off was the tyre hitting the panel.
