I hope someone does something as good as this for the Ineos Grenadier.
60,000 done. That was a big service as valve clearances are adjusted and all fluids replaced. Running beautifully. I miss driving my D2 as much but that is largely sentimental. This vehicle has its own character and the diesel is a very sweet. Enjoying the reliability too. Nothing to report on that front. Keen to do more camping soon. Cheers

Update. 70,000 klms. Very pleased with the vehicle. I have just developed a split in the cool side of the intercooler hose. It dropped a bit of power. Common fault. Thin walled rubber hose. Replacement 4 ply thick rubber hose on its way for $119 delivered but will also get the split one warrantied for a spare. New one is much stronger. Not mad keen on Silicon as they are a little harder to keep on the fittings...slippery little things.
Hose is very easy to take off. Will wrap in self annealing tape for now.
Would not have been an issue on a trip. The vehicle still goes OK but of course down on power and anyone with duct tape or annealing tape (better) etc can wrap it quickly and keep going. Not ideal to have the weakness but not a drama.
Cheers

Yep true mate. Got onto dealer today and they will fit a new one tomorrow under warranty and Uber me to and from town. Good service that.

Vehicle back. Very crisp acceleration again. Must have been degrading the boost getting through for a little while as the hose split more over time. They fitted me in for an intermediate service Inc oil and filter at the same time for $250 all up. Really great service. Cheers
Serious bit of kit. I like. Cheers
