Series 4 Cylinder engine Cooma - Melbourne at Easter

    All,
Would anyone from Melbourne be going to the Easter meeting in Cooma, with room in their vehicle to bring back an engine? I've acquired a Series 4 cylinder off Quarks, who is based in Sydney but going to Cooma. He can take the engine up with him, could anyone bring it back to Melbourne or thereabouts for me?
    Kind Regards,
    Alan

Theoretically, and if you're not in a hurry, then yes. That said, it would need to go in the back of the 101 on Monday morning - I'll be camping in it, so no room before I pack up. It would need to be not too oily or leaking oil and on a stand or tyre, etc. Would need a hand to get it in the back as it's a fair way up so not sure how that woukd work either.

The 101 won't be back in Melbourne for several weeks after the event either, but if you can work all of this, happy to help.

Well, this slow burning movement is sorted. Alan just picked up the engine and he had a really nice SWB chassis he'd found too - should be a ripping project - look forward to seeing it progress. Nice to meet you mate. 👍😊

    Gav,
Thanks again for bringing the engine back from Cooma, and to Quarks (Geoff) for taking it there! The courier service really does work well!
    Regards,
    Alan
