    2A roof. Wandong to Tullamarine

G'day all, I need to get a 2a roof from Wandong Vic.to Tullamarine. From there it will come by truck to me in Sydney area. It's about 2.800 long, 1.500 wide, and .200 high. I don't know the weight, but as it's aluminium, so not very heavy.
My thanks to anyone who can help with this.
    Don.

Yes, from another member, Tom, (The Grey_Ghost ).Time frame is ASAP. I'm not in a desparate rush, but Tom needs it out of the way. It's cluttering up his tidiness, and there's already been a few failed attempts.
The truck from Tullamarine to Sydney is a regular thing, shifting stuff between a friends two warehouses.

Its literally 2 mins from the hume freeway, if its your mates truck they may as well pick it up. Id chuck it on my roof but i dont wanna damage it, its wider than my racks are.

Do you think i would get it onto a roof rack ok ?

The truck belongs to a national freight carrier, so I can't see them diverting. Also the timing would have to be convenient for Tom. If i can get it to Tullamarine, my friend's staff will strap it onto a pallet for the truck trip.

That would depend on roof rack size. Tom says he has a box trailer, but it's too small.
I could pay the hire of a suitable trailer if that helps.

Probably cheaper to pay for tom to put it on the roof of the 101? A trailer is at least $100

Not sure how you'd get it on the roof of his 101 - it's taller than a block of flats. I could pick it up and deliver it to Tulla at some stage in the next few weeks if no one else can - can't do it for at least 2 weeks though.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
