Ok, fair enough, but picking the tank up at the same time sure ain’t legal. If it’s for work, then you wouldn’t have your Son driving - on a Saturday... Just don’t understand why people can’t stay at home for a few weeks, it’s not that hard - how would you like it if someone in your family got covid because someone did the wrong thing?
Just do the right thing...
To be honest I didn't think a zero contact pick up would be an issue and the only reason I agreed to do it was to get my son out on a lesson. I've had two family members contract Covid and thankfully recover well so take this whole situation pretty seriously. I work in a hospital (non patient contact) so have am very careful in these time. Anyway not trying to start any fights here.
So!
If I were a courier(which I was for a good 15+ years) and someone asks me to go to place X to do a pickup and hold item over for an unspecified amount of time, am I
1/ flouting socially acceptable precautionary measures
2/ just doing my 'job', even tho I'm not getting any financial benefit
3/ exercising my right to exercise
4/ none of the above, or all of the above
If I go my (aged)dads place and take him something he wants(not necessarily needs, and is capable to get himself), are the social acceptance rules of the above scenario the same here?
I hadn't seen my father in law since Christmas, then in May he became I'll (non covid) and passed away within days . I couldn't even go to the bloody funeral because of number restrictions. Some people have sawdust between their ears. FAIRDINKUM.
