    If there was no oil in the old compressor, you either had a serious refrigerant leak or due to low refrigerant levels it's all in the evaporator. Either

    The 50mm ball also has a regulated height,something like 350 to 460mm from memory,which is often too low for 4 wheel drive vehicles.
