Ok. I am just starting to get into some more serious walks since getting this pack - hasn't taken too long .
I recently did a day walk up Higgs Track and had it lightly loaded with more food than I needed, spare thermals, rain jacket, thick polar fleece jacket, first aid kit. On the belt I had 2 bottles of water, camera, knife, some snacks, mobile phone. Weather was cold, overcast but no rain to speak of.
The pack was extremely comfortable but I would expect that with a light load. I could hardly notice the pack, it felt great. Having gear on the belt I found made things like camera, snacks, water really easy to access, without having to stop.
I am still really happy with the pack, and will hopefully be doing more diverse walks over the next few months with some more weight, and inevitably in some Tassie rain, so will report back with how it goes, if people are interested.
