I've found this dead baby bat on the verandah this morning. As you can see an ant discovered it before me. .W.

That bat maybe an adult.
Many insect eating bats are very small.
Microbat. You can build a roost for them.

I found this poor little lizard on our lawn at Bakers Hill in West Australia the other morning. Looks like a cat or fox had caused the damage, & so far my research has not discovered what sort of lizard it is. I've seen them around before & thought initially that it was a small snake as they slither around rather snake like, but closer inspection of this one does reveal some small legs:

Maybe it's not a lizard but a Broad Banded Skink ?
Looks like a blue tongue lizard (skink) to me.
Here's a few more

Deano :)
Thanks BSF & Deano, that makes perfect sense as we have lots of Blue Tongues on the property, but they are all big & much darker in colour - never thought of babies! Duh:(
During this mornings walk we came across a pair of roos, mum & son, well they ran off down the fence line with the small one inside the fence & mum outside. I clicked the shutter just as mum jumped over the face & the little roo:
