new wireless remote
Well it's not expensive $21:00 with postage from fleabay but I now have a wireless remote for the D300s, put it on tested it works a like a charm up to 30m no worries
can set it to timer, manual or just preset the camera bloody love it, half press the trigger to focus just like the camera, it's so simple it didn't even come with directions.
My monopod has a tripod atachment that folds up into the bottom of the lower leg so now I am going to play with some night / late afternoon / early morning shots and see what I can do.
13 year old gave me $20-00 for chrissy as she had no idea what to get me, was the best pressy.

Not bad! I picked up a wired remote today from Photocontinental, cost me $30! They also had a wireless model that also allowed you to pre-program multiple timed shots, and time lapse photography. $109, but very tempted.

I will get a better one eventually but this was cheap enough to test the water as it were, to see if it was a gimic or I would use one, the short answer to me is yes it will be a good addition to my camera gear

I like the Nikon Camera Control Pro software. With a long USB cable with the lap top is very handy for wild life photography.

I got a wireless remote for my Canon 500D for under $20 from a popular Camera store.
